Garden By the Bay Singapore

Gardens by the bay are one of the unique tourist’s attractions in Singapore and are located in the Marina Bay. The gardens by the bay is a huge, colorful and attractive park, a place you don’t want to miss in your tour of Singapore.

You will get a skywalk over the gardens from the incredible Supertree structures, and there are hundreds of trees and plants you can discover from the gardens at the bay. For a good capture of the Gardens at the bay, the best place is from the top of the Marina Bay Sands which is directly opposite the park.

The park sits on a large wide area of 250 acres of reclaimed land on the waterfront. The garden is divided into three areas which are the Bay East Garden, the Bay Central Garden and the Bay South Garden.

The Greenhouses at the Gardens by the Bay

You will enjoy a visit to the cloud forest to cool off; the greenhouses are smaller-shaped buildings where plants that thrive in tropical highlands covers 35 meters high mountain.

You don’t have to worry about climbing; there is a lift to take you up to the mist where you get a great view of plant walls and orchids when you look down. It will costs only S$28 and S$15 for adults and kids respectively.

The Supertree Grove

The supertrees are vertical gardens that are covered in reddish trellis-work and boasts of over 300 plant species; it is the main exhibition, located in the Bay South Garden and are referred to as the Supertree Grove. It is best you visit the Supertree Grove at night when the trees are colorfully lit up.

The exterior of the tall upright gardens is covered by more than 200 species of flowers and plants and hosts the garden’s light and music show twice at night. You can as well enjoy a meal at the Supertree by Indochine and have a 360 degrees view from the lounge that has a tree-top roofless bar.

You will walk along the DragonFly and Kingfisher lakes if you arrive by MRT, you can take your time to walk along the boardwalk where you see numerous birds and insects that inhabits the area.
